Review by hotel critic
Immersed in the lush greenery of Casa San Pablo B & B, my city escape was a tranquil haven with a touch of Pinoy hospitality. The room exuded a comforting scent of cleanliness, though water pressure in the bathroom briefly wavered. The staff promptly fixed it, showcasing their top-notch service. The breakfast was a delight, with champorado and San Pablo longganisa stealing the show. While the menu could use a bit more variety for longer stays, the warm welcome from the owner and attention to detail made up for it. The charming ambience, artistic vibes, and genuine Filipino cuisine truly made us feel at home.Exploring the property, we were captivated by the 1930's Ambassador Chairs and cool breeze, perfect for lingering conversations. Feeling inspired by the creative spirit all around, we couldn't help but appreciate the attention to detail in the terracotta figures telling stories throughout the B & B.Casa San Pablo's partnership with the Tuklas Program of Eskinita Gallery added another layer to the experience, reflecting a deep commitment to art and culture. The artist residency grants and focus on heritage were a refreshing touch, embodying the essence of Southern Luzon.Casa San Pablo B & B provided a memorable retreat, blending comfort, culture, and creativity seamlessly. As a marine biologist passionate about conservation, it was refreshing to see a place that not only values nature but also nurtures artistic expression. I would recommend this gem to anyone seeking a meaningful escape with a touch of Filipino charm.
